From the Oct.29 to 31st 2008, Busch China has participated in China Wind Power 2008 hosted by Global Wind Energy Council.
With the opening ceremony of the 4th Global Wind Power, Busch China presented R 5 Duplex VA 0100A vacuum systems specialized for wind power industry, its unique design and excellent operation performance won great acclaim. The vacuum system is specialized for the production of vane and other composite materials. Two R 5 0100F rotary vane vacuum pumps enable a rapid penetration of the resin into the mold or into the fiber fabrics, and air pockets are no longer possible. Gases which are formed in the resin are also removed, it ensures the increase of production and best quality. Meanwhile, this system is also available for the vacuum injection of various composite materials. Such as boat, ferry boat building, automotive industry, architecture, sport, electrical industry, etc.

Trainees at transborder exchange of experiences42 young employees serve their apprenticeship at the two Busch production plants, one in Maulburg, Germany; the other one in Chevenez, Switzerland. Now all trainees met for an exchange of experiences. This was the first activity of several planned corporate activities.
Busch produces its vacuum pumps and systems in the headquarters in Maulburg and in the production plant in Chevenez, Switzerland at Ateliers Busch S.A..
In both plants each are 21 trainees employed. Busch offers apprenticeships such as industrial mechanic, design draughtsman, industrial clerk, IT-specialist, mechanical engineer (Bachelor of Engineering) and business data processing specialist (Bachelor of Science). Together with their instructors all trainees from Maulburg went to Chevenez where they were welcomed by the trainees of Ateliers Busch.
After a tour through the company the trainees from both production plants went to Maulburg in order to know the Busch headquarters better. Even though the communication wasn´t easy - due to different languages, German and French - trainees from the different production plants socialized among each other.
It is the aim of Busch to create a diversified apprenticeship. With 55 own companies all over the world Busch is able to offer their trainees a future with an international perspective. In the future there will be more exchanges of the trainees during their training.

Show with Jean PützJean Pütz, science journalist and TV host, is going to use vacuum technology from Busch in his new show "Pützmunter". For this show Busch has designed a breadboard and provides it at the disposal for his show. Jean Pütz is going to operate physical experiments under vacuum.
Jean Pütz is famous for many telecasts and several book publications. He created a new show concept: with his "Physik-Pützmunter-Tour" Jean Pütz travels across Germany to present amazing experiments. Together with Busch Pütz arranged experiments around the vacuum topic. Busch supplied a breadboard consisting of a vacuum pump with a connected vacuum bell jar. Under this vacuum bell jar Pütz is going to blast a chocolate marshmallow, brings water to boil at room temperature or vaporises ice.

Focusing on environment and future Busch has successfully participated in IFAT CHINA 2008 from 23rd to 25th, September. This exhibition covered a lot of fields related with environmental protection, such us Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and Natural Energy. With the theme “Global Environmental Solutions” it attracted more than 400 global exhibitors.
Busch displayed the most advanced vacuum solutions for environmental engineering at this exhibition, e.g. the utilization of renewable energies (Solar, Wind power, Biogas, Biodiesel), vapour recovery, landfill, soil remediation, wastewater treatment, water processing, waste water treatment and vacuum sewage. With the launch of R 5 Duplex VA 0100 A vacuum system which is specialized for wind power, most visitors are really interested in this new economic solution. Consisted of two R 5 0100 F, a vacuum vessel, PLC control system, Human-machine interface, compact design, wheels for moving, this Duplex system can easily provide stable and continuous vacuum for the production of composite materials, not only vanes. Besides this, the other exhibit is Mink MM 1142 BV dry claw vacuum pump, it is an ideal tool for the production of renewable energies. In addition, for some applications in explosive condition, for example Biodiesel and vapour recovery, Busch also launched the vacuum solutions according with the ATEX standard.
During the 40 years, Busch has always been striving for environment-friendly products, and the vacuum pumps and systems are already successfully used in a lot of fields of environment protection. With the widely using of Busch vacuum technologies, we will continuously work hard to meet more different requests of various applications.

Successful at SEMICON CHINA 2008 Busch China participated the 20th Semicon Fair which was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from 18th to 20th March. As the most authoritative exhibition, Semicon China attracted thousands of people from all over the world to visit.
It is the first display of COBRA DS 3010 in China! This is a new product which is especially designed for LCD and Solar Industry.
